As co-owner of Fabulous Food Fine Catering and Events, Chantal Hause with her chef and husband, Skip, founded the company in 1996 as a special event and concession company initially licensed by McDonald’s Corporation to produce food and beverage for the NBA All Star Week, The NFL Experience, NHRA and NASCAR races around the country.

After finding success with sporting events, the Hause’s envisioned transforming Fabulous Food into a distinctive high-end catering and event planning company. Under Chantal’s direction Fabulous Food has built a reputation for creating inspired culinary experiences that are exclusively tailored for each client’s specific desires and needs.

Known for her creativity, enthusiasm  and organizational skills, Chantal’s breadth of event planning experience is invaluable. Prior to forming Fabulous Food, Chantal spent 17 years in the Phoenix restaurant and catering industry working at John Gardiner’s Tennis Ranch (now the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain , Vincent on Camelback, Coffee Plantation in the Biltmore Fashion Park, and Continental Catering.

Over the years, Chantal has mentored various members of the Fabulous Food team and empowered them to expand their culinary arts expertise. Chantal recently passed the torch a as high-profile member of the International Special Events Society (ISES) to make room for her staff to contribute. She also support the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) and Meals on Wheels.

Chantal is an icon in the local catering industry. Her accomplishments were widely recognized in 2012 when she received an ISES Lifetime Achievement Award. Chantal is also active and founding member of the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA).

She has worked on behalf of numerous community charity events including Beau Arts Bash, Rendez-Zoo, Taste of the Nation, Tour de Noel, and she served as co-chair for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala.

Under her guidance Fabulous Food continues to partner with various arts and cultural organizations including Actors Theatre, Arizona Costume Institute, Arizona Theater Company, Ballet Arizona, ChildsPlay, the Desert Botanical Garden, the Heard Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix Boys Choir, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

Chantal’s commitment to clients whether a spouse-to-be, corporate planner, social event chairperson, party or wedding planner is that Fabulous Food events are unique and executed to perfection which is a testament to how she lives her life.

Smooth – crunchy people are just strange

Ben and Jerry’s Pfish Food

5) What food do you hate?
How much space do I have??? Hairy berries, cream cheese, steamed cauliflower, broccoli, anything that might flirt with a jar of Velveeta, lima beans, salmon, coconut, limp soft shell crab, Ponzu, no nuts in my sushi, no corn in my soup, fish sauce, cooked tuna, shall I continue???

Great wine

Spa day – can I have one soon???
