Kristina Viator
Service Staff Manager

Kristina Viator joined Fabulous Food in 2008 after previously working in business environments where she held positions as a Data Assistant, AP / Payroll Clerk and Office Manager. Her organizational skills and can do attitude are daily assets as she tackles the challenges of keeping Fabulous Food’s service operations running smoothly.

Kristina first crossed paths with Jim Curry, Fabulous Food Director of Operations, when touring the Arizona Culinary Institute. She opted to pursue a traditional college education, but stayed in touch with Jim, which led to a part-time job as a Fabulous Food Banquet Server. From banquets she transitioned to work in the cafés Fabulous Food operates at the Desert Botanical Garden Patio Café and Arizona Science Center Lab Café. In her spare time Kristina helped with catering deliveries, all while continuing as a Banquet Server and college student.

She was quickly elevated to Banquet Captain and over time rose through the ranks to ultimately become Service Manager where she maintains a crew of more than 30 staff and is hands on in all areas of service. Kristina is the master of being pulled in multiple directions while responding to any and all situations accordingly.

1) What is your favorite comfort food?
Ice cream, a chocolate shake always hits the spot!

2) What was your favorite meal as a child?
Macaroni & Cheese with chocolate milk.

3) What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Mint chocolate chip.

4) What is your guilty pleasure?
It’s a toss up between playing video games and watching movies.

5) What is your favorite form of exercise?
I love to swim. It is so peaceful to be underwater alone with your thoughts.

6) Who is your favorite cartoon character?
Tinker Bell. She reminds me that I just have to believe in something and that something will come true.

7) Do you prefer your peanut butter crunchy or smooth?
Honestly I don’t like peanut butter.
