Saturday’s in October are typically filled with multiple events in the Fabulous Food family’s world, and October 20th was not an exception to the rule. We had an evening full of events lined up, and we had teams of captains, chefs, and servers running parties all over Phoenix. And our sales team, myself included, spent the better part of our days floating between the Coral Gables community, North Scottsdale, Central Phoenix, Orange Tree Golf Resort, and the Desert Botanical Garden to ensure all of our soirees were executed in style.

Everyone knew the day was going be dynamic, so Stephanie, Stephen, and myself decided to take a leisurely morning adventure to the Phoenix Public Market before the chaos of day ensued.

We were on the hunt for fresh, local produce to fill our menus. As we roamed around the market, we discovered stunning honeydew melons.

And the eggplants were the color of vintage grape lamour table linens.

We also scooped some snazzy stickers!

As we left the farmers market, we thought we would spend just a little more time relishing in the gorgeous October weather Phoenix has to offer.

So we walked over to Jobot Coffee Shop and grabbed some toddies.

And we NEED one of these boxes in the office. It would be filled up in three days. I am confident of it.

After coffee, we detoured to Bodega 420 on Roosevelt and 5th Street. And what a hidden gem we had stumbled upon.

The shelves were filled with local Arizona products.

Why hasn’t anyone sent a memo that Crow’s Dairy has goat milk caramels? I require an entire desk draw full, please!

And they have a chalk board where customers can request new items for the shelves and vote on which ones they would like Bodega 420 to carry.

Stephanie, Stephen, and myself all voted for club soda, and we each put down a few personal requests before we headed on our merry way.

After spending one incredible morning together discovering the sights, scents, and sounds of downtown Phoenix and learning a little more about each other too, we parted ways to begin our afternoon and evening filled with one of kind events for some truly fabulous clients.
